Who we are
Dunn's Christmas Creations is a small family business in Taree, NSW, making hand-cut, hand-painted, weatherproofed outdoor Christmas cutouts. These terms apply whenever you use this website or place an order with us.
Quotes and orders
Adding items to your cart and submitting an order creates a quote — it isn't a confirmed order until we've been in touch and received your cash deposit. Everything is made to order unless a listing says otherwise, so turnaround takes time, especially during the lead-up to Christmas. We can pause or decline orders for a product at our discretion (for example, if we're at capacity).
Payment
We're cash-only — we don't take card payments or process any online payments, and we never collect your banking details through this site. A deposit secures your order, with the balance payable in cash on pickup.
Pickup
Orders are collected in person once ready; we'll be in touch to arrange a time. We also visit Port Macquarie and Newcastle from time to time — ask us if that helps.
Cancellations and changes
Because pieces are hand-made to order, please get in touch as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a quote. We'll always try to work something out, but deposits may not be refundable once work has started.
Kids' Corner
Kids' Corner pieces are hand-painted by the featured child, with sale proceeds going directly to them. These are only sold while actually in stock — no made-to-order or pre-orders for these ones.
Caring for your piece
Our cutouts are weatherproofed for outdoor use, but like anything left outside year-round they'll weather over time. See our Care Instructions page for tips on getting the longest life out of yours.
Your account
Keep your login details to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has access to your account. Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your order.
Reviews and photos
If you leave a review or submit a photo, you're giving us permission to display it on this site. We may remove or hide content that's abusive, spammy, or doesn't belong to you. See our Privacy Statement for how we handle your personal information, including the email notifications you've opted into.
Liability
We do our best to get every detail right, but nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to re-supplying the product or service or refunding what you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always the one on this page.
